
This past Sunday during House Church, many things were stirring within the hearts of the people in attendance. At one point during a time of deep heartfelt prayer, my heart sensed that there is a LGBT issue within the church.
The church planting movements and multiplication of disciples in Asia are in large measure a house church planting phenomena. China’s Christian growth is preeminently house church networks with estimates of 100 million participants.
Life is a great deal easier for those that don’t. Like a couple with no desire for kids there is little pressure, fewer problems, lots of disposable income and free time. Yet as the years go by it also becomes apparent there is no heritage.
The transition into a simple church environment at first appearance is a walk into an easy world of pot-luck meals, singing around the living room and lively Bible discussions all punctuated with warm, inviting people.
